Born in 1961, Mrs. Molu is the third generation member of the well-established Molu family of Kayseri. After graduating from Hacettepe University, Department of Biology, she worked in academia and the public sector for many years. After working on sustainable agriculture and environmental policies at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, she returned to her family’s heritage farm in Kayseri and turned to organic agriculture.

In 2007, Molu started working on organic viticulture and in 2009, she established the Vinolus brand and started boutique wine production. Vinolus, which she created by combining the Latin word vin (wine) with her own name, has achieved national and international success in a short time with its wines produced with a completely organic and sustainable viticulture approach.

Blending local and international varieties with the grapes grown in Kayseri’s high-altitude, volcanic soils, Molu has revealed the region’s winemaking potential and won many awards with Vinolus wines. She is also recognized as one of the pioneers of women entrepreneurship in agriculture and winemaking.

Adopting a production approach that respects nature, Mrs. Molu develops projects not only on winemaking but also on ecological agriculture, agrotourism and sustainable living. Believing in the importance of organic farming and local production, Molu reflects the unique terroir of Anatolia and her own production philosophy in every drop of her wines.
